[edit] Strategy for Victory in Georgia
Many of the Ron Paul Meetups in Georgia are working together to build name recognition for our candidate. We are also converging on local GOP fund raisers to increase our profile within the GOP.
The three most important things you can do are:
- Spread the word about Dr. Paul:
- Door-to-door canvassing
- Calling registered voters
- Letter mailing to voters
- Voting on February 5th
- Becoming a Republican delegate for your precinct
[edit] General Strategy
- The State Coordinator, Ike Hall ( ike(at)ronpaul2008(dot)com ), is charged with identifying and selecting State Regional Coordinators and County Coordinators
- Each County Coordinator will be charged with identifying and locating District Coordinators (typically aligning with county commission of city council seats)
- Each District Coordinator working in conjunction with the county coordinator will work to identify precinct captains.
- Each Precinct Captain will be charged with identifying & helping to coordinate the canvassing, phone banking, letter writing and other grassroots activities of the Ron Paul supporters located within their precinct.
Precinct Captains play a critical role because they work the closest to the voters needed to elect Ron Paul.
- Find your precinct ID: http://sos.georgia.gov/cgi-bin/locator.asp

[edit] District and Precinct Maps for Georgia
The Georgia Secretary of State Elections Division oversees all Georiga elections. Resources include voter registration, a polling locator, complaint submissions, and election results.
The actual elections, however are managed at the county level which is then subdivided into districts and then precincts.
