*SEPT. 14-22 - THE FREDERICK FAIR, Frederick County Fairground in Frederick. GOP will have a tent. They said we are welcome to come in and show our support for our candidate at any time - wear your Ron Paul T-shirts, buttons, etc.!!
May need volunteers to help out at the Republican party tent in general. We will have some bumper stickers, slim jims (informational brochures), buttons and yard signs already at the tent, but since we tend to run out of materials, feel free to bring in yard signs or buttons or whatever to add to the supplies.
Possible: Petitions and Straw Poll!
[edit] Other Upcoming Events in Frederick County
*OCT. 6 - FREDERICK IN-THE-STREETS FESTIVAL, an annual all-day street party attended by tens of thousands from Maryland and beyond. A tremendous opportunity for sign-waving, marching in groups, handing out literature and buttons, etc. There may be a GOP table/booth, more on this as info becomes available. The festival is one of the premiere fun events in Maryland, with plenty of live entertainment, great food, and things to do for all age groups, and culminates with a dance party under the stars, on top of one of the parking decks. It's on a Saturday, and the weather in October is usually great, so all Ron Paul activists in Maryland should make an effort to attend!
