[edit] Pacific County, Washington
Beautiful Pacific County lies in the SW corner of Washington. The Willapa Hills is the heart of the county, boasting rural farmlands and forests. South Bend is the county seat, right on the Willapa Harbor, and just to the NE is Raymond, the connection to Aberdeen to the north and Chehalis to the east. Population is about 26,000. The Long Beach peninsula is the coastal side of our county and they are said to be the longest beach in the world. Oysters and cranberries are popular products from our area and the Clam seasons draw visitors from all over. Wildlife is abundant here, and Fishermen and Elk hunters are drawn to the area each season.
