Washington/Strategy

From Ron Paul Grassroots

[edit] Washington Strategy for Victory

In Washington State, the Republicans have a dual popular vote/caucus system for selecting the delegates that ultimately chose the nominee. It is essential that you:

a. Let everyone you know that they can vote in the Republican primary. There is no party affiliation in Washington, just fill out the Republican ballot.
b. Contact your County Republican Party and tell them that you want to be a Precinct Committee Officer (PCO). PCOs run the caucuses and have incredible power to pick delegates. Currently over half of the precincts in some counties do NOT have PCOs. By becoming a PCO, you not only help Ron Paul earn delegates to the national convention, you also provide the campaign with the infrastructure of activists needed to conduct effective canvassing and co-ordinate 'Get out the vote' efforts. Note: When signing up with the party, try to avoid discussing primary candidates. The primary race is not relevant to your involvement, and could possibly antagonize Republicans who favor another candidate.
